Shiva-Ki

Mike & Steve: How were my brother and I able to beat a pair of seriously attacking rottweilers into submission after an attempted maiming?  And they weren’t threatening, they were serious. Admittedly, I have a lot of experience with dog attacks.  We would have never survived a pitbull attack.  But we stood shoulder to shoulder, got into the zone where time slows down, and beat those dogs into submission.  I was certain I was going to be mangled or killed, but it was my brother.  And we didn’t get a scratch.  I consider that a miracle, but there is combat t’ai chi.  That’s also why I carry a knife again. Not that you weren’t absolutely right about everything else.  My twin brother and I have been fighting since BEFORE our births.  Every day until we went to college, and studying different forms ever since.

Shiva-Ki: The answer to that is in you and your brother’s years of experience in combat, not the Tai Chi. Perhaps the focus of purpose and having learned to control and apply your Chi were of more assistance than Tai Chi combat techniques, coupled with your years of hand to hand combat. Only you can answer that.

We are leaving today, Wednesday, to pick up a collection of Shiva Ki blades from several collectors. Should be plenty of one-of-a-kind models from twenty years back and more. Shiva only turned me on to this because I’ve been pestering him for more work than he’s willing to do. And i don’t mind at all.
