Shiva-Ki: Master of the Blade’s Edge

October 22, 2013 2 comments

David Crane reviews this master bladesmith: Shiva Ki may just be the single best-kept secret in the custom knife world today. He makes what are arguably some of the sharpest tactical/fighting fixed blades in the world, and you can quote me on that. Every Shiva Ki custom knife comes to its new owner SCARY SHARP (and very durable). Perhaps this is why armed professionals all over the world carry and rely on his knives on a daily basis.

Louisiana Bugoutwhale’s article about Shiva-Ki: These are made locally. For those that do not know Master Ki, he is one of the few true, legitimate, Ninja Masters left in the world. He is a veteran, and when he is seen out he can often be found wearing a human ear on his dog tags that came from a North Vietnamese General that he killed in a Spec Ops mission. (I don’t remember if its Vietnam or Korea). Read more here: http://www.bugoutwhale.com/showthread.php/525-Shiva-Ki-knives

Check out what one of Bill’s comrades has to teach us about Concealment Basics – something he learned from Bill Bagwell himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_bIQUXXKLw

Exquisite new collections from Shiva Ki now available

Blaydz Purveyors has recently acquired the second largest, most unique, and most famous of Master Shiva Ki’s knives from two extraordinary collections: Mons. Henri U. Allamandy, and Mons. Dominique Beaucant. The collections contain autographed knives from world-renown bladesmiths, Master Shiva Ki and Bill Moran.

In addition you will also discover the actual record-breaking Bowie blade from Shiva that cut 16 1-inch bound sisal ropes seven times, signed by Shiva Ki himself! All of these exquisite knives have been authenticated by Master Shiva Ki. Many of them have accompanying documentation, videotapes and other provenance. This carefully photographed collection is currently stored in a specially-constructed vault and is in mint condition, as you will see below, in “Collection A.” Never before has such a collection ever become available at one time!

The collections have been divided into separate lots, one of which you can now view here: Collection A (from Mons. Alamandy). Please Note: Due to the large number of pieces in each collection, Collection A has been divided into 23 separate lots. Click here>>

What is Blaydz? Simply stated, we are new purveyors but we try, in some ineffable way, to be different. Like many dealers, we entered the field because of our own interest, and the observation that our personal collection was growing at a bit of an alarming rate. It had to have some control, some definition. Simply put, we wanted to focus on a few types of knives rather than a few of each variety, and to, at least initially, a few makers who are at the very top of their fields.
